My flight was leaving Petersburg at 11:00 a.m. and I was very sad to leave. I was up fairly early and packed all the stuff back into my bags. My friend and I made our last breakfast trip to Coastal and had a final Ivar sandwich. Then we made our way to the airport.

Some of the people I had met while I was there had come to see me off at the airport. I could get used to small town living. I was very touched. My river guide showed up with a box in his hand and gave it to my friend. It was the part he needed to fix the pump to get the running water working again, the day I leave...figures right?

It was an amazing trip and I wouldn't have changed a thing. As I was saying goodbye a few of the people I had met asked when I'd be moving there.

I could get used to living in a place like Petersburg, Alaska.
