Sunday
Cloudy/Rain

We drove to a spot about 3 miles outside of town and hiked our way into town. I took some pictures on the way just as it started to downpour. I quickly found out that the jacket I thought was rainproof was not and I got soaked as I walked into town. I made it to the main street just as the parade started. It was cute and I laughed as they went around twice to make the parade seem longer then it was.

I tried to take pictures of the parade but it was really downpouring at this point and I didn't want the camera to get wet. They had one float. I think it was supposed to be a fish but I'm not really sure. I did manage to get a picture of the start of the parade before I hid my camera beneath my shirt to keep it dry.

I don't know if you can tell from the picture but it was completely pouring at this point and no one even cared.

The day ended with a dinner of halibut, salad, and potatoes. I've decided that if I had someone to cook it for me I could eat fish every night for dinner.
